2 New Orleans police officers convicted in 2005 beating death
Wednesday March 13, 2011 Publish by: Jim Barnett, CNN http://m.cnn.com/primary/_2mVaNw-ifCjbzh93z Two New Orleans police officers in a 2005 beating death telling investigators the victim was suffering from drug overdose. There was neighbors who witness the violence and they testified they saw the officer Melvin Williams approach Raymond Robair on the street in his own neighborhood and kicked him in the side and beat him repeatedly with a baton. Then after they brutally attacked the victim he was unconcious and was tossed inside the cop car and driven to Charity Hospital. Instead of being found under the influence they also found him with his ribs fracture.
